Born as William Omar Landron Garces born in February 10, 1978 in Carolina, Puerto Rico. He is known as Don Omar. 
He is a very successful reggaeton singer, he had two major hits that put him on the top of his carrer one of the songs been “Dile” and “Dale don Dale”, from his first album. His songs center around love and life, an example of this is another of his hits “Pobre Diabla”. 

He has sold over a million copies around the world making him a platinum award artist for his sales. He sold over 500,000 copies in South America. 

One of his best and most recent hits has to be Angelito which it put him in the top 10 Billboard Charts. 

He is a songer and composer he has made a great contribution to and significant impact in the Latino Market. One of the most impressive things that he has done in his carrer was to gather over 125,000 people at a concert in Venezuela. 

He has also contributed to social causes such as teleton events in 2006 for the Mexican Teleton and Chile 2007.
