Bamboleo is a pioneering band of Timba (Genre: Popular cuban music). This band is formed of 14 artists, led by the composer, pianist and arranger Lázaro Valdés. Bamboleo music & performance has effect on the present & past generations of dancers throughout the world. With this new album ¿Quién Manda?, The group was placed quickly in the charts of the Cuban radio, and internationally, songs like “La Que Manda” y “Se Acabaron los Guapos en la Habana” are greatly appreciated and enjoyed by the public dancer. Lazarito Valdes is the author of all themes except for tracks (6) and (8). This new album has the participation of young homegrown talent Alexander Abreu (Director of First Havana Orchestra) on trumpet (item 6). Bamboleo is guarantee to have contributed to the Grammy-winning album “Ear-Resistible”, album by The Temptations for the Motown label,and worked with artists like George Benson, James Brown or the nigerian singer Femi Kuti.
