Abakuá is a recent dancing group build by a couple of friends back in November last year. In love with the Cuban dances like Son, Afro-Cuban Rumba, Orishas and Casino, they decided to push their dancing further and mix everything up in a Rueda de Casino performance.

Finishing their first choreography, they worked with talented dancers like Rafael del Busto or Osbanis and Anneta in order to prepare for the competition in Germany in 2 weeks.

On Sunday 14th March, Havana Central will host a Rueda Show by Abakuá, the UK entrants in the Rueda World Championships.

They will need your love and support as they preview their entry especially for you, so book this date in your diary and make sure you are there!!

However if you still don’t know who are they, Abakuá is the story of a group of friends in love with La Rueda de Casino who decided to take this social experience to a next level.

“For us it will be a big challenge to to get into a big competition like Cubamemucho especially because our team is very new compare to most of the competitors,

Our team is a unique blend of culture as we are coming from different countries and as such we will be proud of representing the UK team.

Our passion is Cuban music, we all love and embrace the cuban arts as Afro-rumba, Son and Orishas all mixed in Cuban Salsa and Rueda de Casino.

We’ll have a first show in Stanza on the Sunday 14th of March and would be delighted of your attendance,
